On the FR forums, this has been discussed. But the specs seem somewhat sketchy.
Your thread title says greater capacity and speed. But I haven't seen anything definitive yet. Some were posting numbers far greater than the G614s. That seems odd.
I love the idea of this tire and truly hope it does well. But like YnotTurbo, I'll keep my G614s for as long as I can and hopefully by the time they're worn out, reviews will be out on whether this is a great tire or just another TowMax.
Although the G614 worked great for me for nearly 7 years, their price per tire has now gotten outrageous.
IMHO, the Sailun S637 for half the price is arguably the better tire, its certainly gotten better reviews then the G614's.
Since 2007 the GY "G" and "H" tires have been the GOLD standard. If you want to talk price fine but you have no proof the Sailun is a better tire. - md_procoupleExplorerYes indeed, they sound great !!! Will see how the reviews go esp. here we figure we have one last season on our current tires, and have thought about getting the Sailun's. The seem to getting great reviews as well, as far as foreign mfg's go.
Good Luck and Happy Camping !! - LantleyNomad

The best thing about the Sailun's is it appears they have changed the market place. Developing a reasonably price tire to compete with the G614 has spurned Goodyear to pursue/develop another option a swell.
Decent competition is always good for the consumer. The G614 is no longer the only game in town. - psfordExplorer

G Rated 14 ply... Love them.
- Tiger02ExplorerThanks for sharing. A definite good step in the right direction.
Yes, only time will tell. Will be nice to have an American made quality trailer tire as a future choice if they live up to their promise. Until then, Cooper LT tires will be my go to brand. - downtheroadExplorerYes...following this closely. Happy to see this and like what I see so far.
“Goodyear is proud and excited to introduce the Endurance, the only radial special trailer tire built in the United States,” said Ryan Patterson, president of Goodyear’s North American consumer tire business, in a press release. - MFLNomad IIYes, I've read about them. Any new ST tire technology has to be a step in the right direction. There are several ST brands out now, advertising higher speed ratings, and getting good reviews. Although many of us won't tow over 65, it makes you think these are built to higher standards, with the increased speed rating.
Only time will tell, with the Endurance tires. It takes a couple years use to get quality reviews, good or bad. It is nice to see, made in America, although some of the overseas tires are built to American home base standards.
