New Mattress

I need to get a mattress for my (new to me) 5er. My budget is up to $400, but always happy to spend less.

I found this one (link below) on Amazon and it's a really good price, only $120 and 35 lbs for the 6" version. Any experience with Memory Foam in general? How much weight is too much for a mattress for a 5er (it came without but I figured it wouldn't be much of a concern)

Mattress 6-Inch Memory Foam Mattress, Queen on Amazon

Looking forward to your insights.

Make sure you have a regular Queen size mattress, our 5'er has a "Short" Queen, they are a few inches shorter than a regular queen size one. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!!

Guess I'm heading down to storage with a tape measure! Thank you

If you have under bed storage (your bed platform lifts up), you may have to buy and install stronger pistons. We had to do this because the original pistons would not hold up the bed platform with the new mattress and it was a safety hazard.

I do have this and wasn't sure how much weight they could carry. They seem really strong and I have to put (what seems like) 25-30 lbs of downward pressure to close it.

Does anyone have an insight into what the mattress that came with it would have weighted? 1994 Fleetwood.

We put this one in FW and it's extremely comfortable.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will check out the reviews on this one.
