We were looking to buy a TT around $20,000 at most. Since we are now considering 5th wheels, I have seen that the prices are higher. Would it be alright to buy used? Or is new better due to warra...

We went to two dealers in the coastal region today. Whew!! Besides it being so hot, it was discouraging! The prices on the ones that we like are so high!! And some of the ones that we had found on the net were gone.
I guess if you want a really good deal, it takes a lot of time and patience!
How does it work out....to buy a 10+ year old 5er and fix it up? Do they fall apart after 10 years or so, or do they last for another 10+ years? I know that maintenance has a lot to do with it, but on average? What is the typical lifespan of a 5er?
