New Outside Stairs
Has anyone installed the new stairs they have, for 5th/wheels to replace the old ones. I saw them at an R V Show last week. They seem very easy to install. Gray Fox

I installed Solid Steps on my TT. I love em. However I also have two entry doors. I would never put them on a single door 5th wheel. %th wheels sit high off the ground like our TT does. That means you need a minimum of 3 steps and probably 4. That makes the arc to drop them down longer and they will stick out further. The other drawback is pulling off the side of the road and wanting to use the head or grab a bite. If the 5er's not close to level then you have to fiddle with the steps so they deploy right.
Not so with my two door TT. We just use the front entry door when on uneven ground or tight situations.
The other drawback is you once you're backed into your spot you can't get into the 5er until it's level and set up or you risk tweaking the steps.
