New Outside Stairs
Has anyone installed the new stairs they have, for 5th/wheels to replace the old ones. I saw them at an R V Show last week. They seem very easy to install. Gray Fox

Good ol solid 4 step Elkhart Industries like I have or TorkLift are the only way to go.
200# on my bottom step and they only deflect 1/2".
Static loading maybe but even 1/2" can throw someone off and walking down them they can deflect more. We've had the 4 step cantilever style (yes, beefy and strong) and it's like using a diving board.
Vs 0" deflection.
Have you ever used a set of these stairs??? I mean specific brand and model???
If not you have no idea how solid these are. Solid as the Torklift or MORryde no but close enough.
MOST RV steps are very scary and are prone to slipping with them being wet. This extruded aluminum and grit pad will not allow a person to slip.
I can park anywhere and still get into my RV.
