Haven't scaled it yet. My intention is to do so in the coming weeks. Like I said, it tows really well. There is really nothing that is telling me that I'm too light on the pin(or heavy). I'm just looking to make some improvements. The only time I get some chucking is on concrete roads with expansion joints in them.
Sounds like you are near the the point of a pin box.
I would assume Great shocks on the TV, good shocks on the 5er, all is level? Not scaled yet so that could be interesting, 20% pin is a good place to start, a little more will help, dry pin is only 16.25% of Dry weight. If you load in 1,500# of stuff, you need to get the pin to 3,000#.
I will buy the pin box as the last step to 100% smooth towing, and likely a Mor-Ryde, as it is simple.
