The bumper pull was 30ft (33 with tongue). It was a Desert Fox made by Northwood and it was pretty heavy as well. Think it weighed in around 12k with all my stuff also it was about 11ft tall maybe 11.5. I was getting about 11mpg on the flats maybe 12 if I was lucky hauling that.
I stopped at the scales on my way home and this new one weighs in at 13'ish (I can't remember exact) and that was with a 1/2 tank of water (70 gallons and nothing else in in.) It's also about 13-13.5 ft tall. There is quite a bit more surface area for wind resistance on this guy. Over all I was getting about 9-10mpg on my tow home but to be fair it was mostly in a side/head wind which didn't help one bit.
So far though the comparison towing is night and day.
