I think the US site has the old Lt235/85R16G's which is phasing out.
Canadian is the new ST's, and the 80 series may not be in the pipeline yet.. Chris
Well here is one for the tire expert, have no idea about phasing out , but here is something to ponder about the Sailun Tire. This is all according to this mornings chat with Simple Tire
Sailun S637 Regional trailer 235/85R-16 part # 8244393 179.99 per tire
Sailun S637 Regional trailer 235/85R-16 part # 5540992 130.99 per tire
According to Simple Tire, there are two different manufacturers listed as Sailun tires, when in fact one is Telstar, the other Sailun. The cheaper of the two ,again according to Simple Tire , is Sailun, the more expensive is Telstar.
They both are sharing manufacturing rights for this product. So it appears we have a Sailun tire out there manufactured by two different companies or manufacturers .
From what I've researched Telstar is a supplier not a manufacturer. Think you were mislead unless you have more info.
The Sailun brand is marketed and distributed by TBC Wholesale in the U.S.A. and Mexico.
"Since we launched in 1970, Telstar Tire has been supplying tires for virtually every need on or off the road."
