For your application, Andersen! Andersen! Andersen! You are already halfway there with the turnover ball. But no the Andersen is NOT a gooseneck hitch. There is no more undo stress than a conventional hitch on your pinbox. There is an adapter that fastens to your kingpin for hookup. Do yourself a favor, and research the Andersen Ultimate, you will probably come to the same conclusion many have with the Andersen. Very good reviews ,and happy owners
