New to us Sportsmaster 212F

Recently bought a 1996 Sportsmaster 212F. Had a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter installed due to having a CM flatbed with a below deck ball. Now I'm finding that it might be a bad idea. Is it going to be a big deal with a trailer that small? Also does anyone have info on that trailer?
  • Thanks for the info! Only running a 12" adapter but will keep a close eye on it.
  • Seems problems with using Gooseneck Adapters occurred with poorly welded pin box structures on Lippert Frames in mid-2000

    KIT MFG. built quality units.
Doubt you will have issues with that 1996 KIT and a gooseneck.
Especially if pin box is 'short version'

KIT Mfg. started in 1945 out in Long Beach CA
Was sold in 2003 to Extreme Rvs which appears to still be in business making towhaulers

    Contact Info

They might have some background info...
