I really think the 5er will back better than the TT did. Thats my findings anyway. I owned several 24'+ trailers of about every configuation, horse trailers, flat beds and cargo. I even drove semi back in the early 70's. I was still a little concerned the first time I hooked up to the 5th wheel. I always pull up, get out and review the situation. Then I try to back in from the left. Have had the fith wheel for 2 years now and haven't made a bad back in yet. Once or twice in tight spots I dropped a cone where I wanted the back corner of the trailer to be. That really helps.
