What is the switch for? The pump? Is it frozen. There are three for four diaphrams involved in the pump and if any are frozen the motor would not turn. Or you could be getting some 60 cycle vibrations from the water heater element. Sounds like you have some pipes frozen Get a hair dryer and start thawing.
theres a switch at the sink that controls the water pump I think. its got to be for that bescause if you flip it off no water comes out at all even in spurts.as for pipes being frozen past 2 days been extremely warm here especially today so I would think they've had time to thaw by now. and I don't know where the pump is so I cant examine it to see. yesterday was like in low 60s and today in low 70s.
