- Dave_H_MExplorer IIthanks for the feed back, Sounds like something to ignore.
- rockintomExplorerMy backflow valves in my last 3 rigs were brass and all were fairly noisy. rockin'
- lpxguyExplorerI would advise to replace the cheapo plastic one with a brass one as they have a high failure rate & spray water everywhere. Happened to me.
- RAINEYTXXExplorerOur's is brass and fairly quiet. Most of the ones I have seen lately are plastic.
- SabreCanuckExplorerWell, I guess I'm the odd one then. I had louder noise on black tank flush like it was overpressuriized. (I know that not a word). While repairing some other things noticed there was a kick in the pipe between the back pressure hose valve and tank. Fixed the kink in the hose and the noise pretty much went away. You can still here the water run but it sounds like flowing not pressurized.
- rockintomExplorerMine chatters/hums different with different water pressures. At about 70 psi it makes a lot of racket. Normal. When it stops making noise of some kind, then you have something to worry about. rockin'
- DutchmenSportExplorerNormal. You're fine!
- Johno02ExplorerMine does, its the spring loaded anti backflow valve that is built into the flusher.. Good water pressure is best. Mine revolves inside, and you can hear that also.
