The web page shows a 1868lb dry hitch weight and gross of 13400lbs. I'm seeing a hitch weight of about 2750-3000 lbs max if you load everything you own in it being it has a cargo capacity of 3750lbs. How is that maxing out a 1 ton truck? I can see it pushing the limits on many 3/4 tons. I certainly don't have 3750 lbs of stuff I can load in it and I have a pack rat wife.
