  • I've heard nothing but good about the Sailun tires.

I went with Bridgestone Duravis R250 rib tires for $197 at Costco.

I also don't know what NTB is. Too; I've not heard of that tire brand. Is it suppose to be a top quality. Are they made in the USA?

Sailun is a tire company from China...they actually pass the same standards that US folk pass...whatever ISO standard that is. The size mentioned is a complete steel circus tire, OTR drivers sometimes use them on their rigs... I just put 7 on my Voltage to replace the Westlake factory tires, one had a goose egg bump in the sidewall. These are heavy tires and well made. They have some good reviews on other forums.

ON EDIT: The ONLY Chinese tire manufacturer that I know of that has achieved ISO TS 16949 and ISO14001 certification...Same certification that my company literally HAS to meet to prove out a quality product and be able to compete in a world wide market....Nothing but good reviews on them thus far. I run GY G614's on my 5er...a very good tire, (no issues with mine), but pricey...When it's time to replace the GY G614's on my 5er, I will look at the Sailun S637 tires and if reports are still good, will probably give them a shot....The credentials they have achieve prove out that quality really is built into their product and to achieve these certifications takes a lot of actual proof of manufacturing processes, with quality in every step....you have the "audit" every year so it's a "continuous improvement" type achievement with quality being a key element.

Apologize for my ignorance but what is NTB?
