Until your UTV breaks, someone gets hurt, and then you attempt to sue the******out of Polaris. That's how folks roll (no pun intended) these days.
Societal leeches who generally have nothing to loose are the folks who sue others. They file these suits because they didn't insure for the unexpected and now want someone else to pay for their stupidity- we all know the type. It's always someone else fault. The lawyers who file these cases are nothing more than leeches with a degree.
It would be nice if the folks buying and driving UTVs had the same philosophy as you. Unfortunately, my observations of the ATV/UTV/Dirt Bike community produces a result of many (if not most) folks not following the safety and social rules that you describe. Therefore, the manufacturers and regulators are forced to regulate. You self regulate which is IMHO a minority.
no, self regulating is the majority, unfortunately the non-self regulating is the minority that you hear about. media and the ambulance chasing attorneys bring the minority to light and that's what you read/hear about. 10% are ruining it for 90% in many aspects.
Also the attorneys are largely to blame as they are the ones that encourage these frivolous lawsuits.
