So, our water pump was on, and in the middle of the night the cold water knob on the sink in the front sleeper shot to the ceiling and water was shooting out of it!So, I turned the water pump off which stopped the geyser going on, and in the morning attempted to repair it. I believe I found all of the pieces, however, once I put it back together, ( I used the hot water side as a demo ) it still does not totally secure the cold water when the pump is on. Since we do leave our pump on I don't want to have to use the pump switch to secure the water.So my question is this. I don't see a model number or anything on the faucet to find a replacement. Any suggestions?Or, can the "guts" just be replaced rather than the entire faucet?Anyone been down this road?Trailer is a 2007 Fleetwood Gearbox

Nothing special about RV faucets except they are usually cheap and of poor quality.Go over to Home Depot - Lowe's and pick up a new faucet that fits your fancy and fits the space you have around your sink.I have (many of us have) replaced the faucets in our kitchen and bathrooms in our rigs with quality 'stick and brick' units.

Ace hardware should have a good selection, or one of the local plumbing supply stores will have one. Pick what you like.

I am wondering if I just replaced the "guts" of it, if I would fix the problem. After some "google" education....maybe this mite do the trickStem & Bonnet Assembly

Oops...now I see that you are in Reedsport...one of our favorite RV destinations...or at least just down the road from you..Yep...no big boxes around there for sure.

sorry to hear about your flood....hopefully you got everything dried out. at least you have great weather for riding, it sure is nice lately.

and about the spot......darn you, i figured you would scope out bigger easier spots. but at least you knew what you where getting into.....

I laughed at your post because it was something I could totally see happening to us. Bad move. Got to Riley Ranch this afternoon and every thing went smoothly. Too smoothly (cue ominous music). As I was kicking back drinking a beer and patting myself on the back for handling everything myself with 2 off the charts ADHD kids (7 & 14) I heard running water. Uhoh!!!! I thought I winterized the trailer, but leaking pipes ALL OVER the trailer say otherwise. Oh cr@p. I'll deal with it after this trip. Water is overrated anyway.

purchased new faucet, 20 min......all changed works great!

Not too sure what the `guts' are but if it has a cartridge take it to the hardware store and get a replacement but be sure to take the old one as a sample; all cartridges are not the same.

I agree, it sure is a nice place, but a bit inconvenient when you need certain things.
