Yeah, we had a near miss with a 100lb cylinder that was overfilled by a dumbass tank jockey (above 40lbs doesn't have an OPD) and it had created a propane lake around the trailer, and you could smell it inside, but the alarm didn't go off.
But, shoot a lysol can twenty feet away for a split second and it'll go off like clock work.
When heartland built the trailer, they located it vertically below the bathroom, so, any accumulate human gas leaks down the stairs and sets it off.
