one ton dually reg cab?

Anyone drive a late model one ton Ram dually reg cab and not a crew cab? I have no problem with the harsh ride, but my wife does. I can't find one locally to test drive, but how harsh is the ride when empty? I hear the air suspension helps. Thanks.
