Just go for the best deal.
If something goes wrong and needs fixing, it usually doesn't go wrong parked in your driveway. What good is your local dealer for service when you are across the country camping?
If you still want to buy local, check out the dealers service dept.
If all they have is a small garage with barely any tools and the mechanic looks like he just came off a two day bender, well you aren't going to get much "service" from that local dealer in all likelihood.
