We went to the Hershey show to specifically see an Open Range rear kitchen and I am not that impressed. Their sales pitch is how light they are.
I do not like the idea of the cable slide out on rooms that big. The cable bracket attachment point on the outside of the slide out looks like a problem waiting to happen. About 6 screws in a 4" long bracket. Wait until they pull out if the slide ever gets hung up. There would be nowhere to refasten the bracket.
Decided that with the big slide out rooms nothing would beat reliability of gear drive.
The section sample of the walls and floor they had there also doesn't look good. I can't see having two layers of luaun as being structural sub floor.
Without exception every Montana/Keystone 5'er we went into gave off chemical fumes to the point they made our eyes water. No other rigs we looked at did that.
