You will never get monies spent back out of it.
But water damage can get extensive due to hidden damage.....unknown until gutting.
Roof leak repairs can be expensive.......roof material, roof plywood/rafters/insulation.
Front cap.......supports/insulation
WALLS.....hidden damage/insulation
Bedroom floor.......wood floor/insulation
Did water damage extend down below floor into 'basement' compartment
Then you find out all the hidden damage and have a gutted 5vr that you have to part out or pay to have hauled away
LOST TITLE......
Seller can get duplicate IF legit!
But if a labor of love......good project
