Semis pull 53' trailers on these roads all the time with longer tractors. While I ONLY pull a 32' 5er if had a 40' 5er I would still drive these roads! When driving down the highway I am not looking in the mirror to see if the trailer is still on the road. I know it is because of where I am driving on the road, in my lane!
So what is narrow to you.

Well this is what I would classify as NARROW!
All of these pictures are on Oregon 26 from Portland to Seaside! The posted speed on this road is 55 mph, and most drive at least that speed.
Yes 53' and tandems run these roads all the time and we all run them at the same time.
