Other fees when buying 5th wheel
Besides sales tax and license plate, dealer wants $200 doc fee, $800 destination fee, and $900 prep fee. Does everyone pay this ? To me these fees are absurd. I will not be financing.

When I bought my 5'er last year I made an offer and stated that would include any dealer added fees with the only other fees being tax and license.
In some states there is a fixed mandatory documentation fee added that all dealers charge. Not sure exactly why but has to do with costs involved in states/dealer handling registration rather than the owner. Many states require the dealer to handle registration, other states allow the owner to drive off with temporary and register it themselves.
