Outside LP Quick-connect

Hi, Did the snow-bird trip last winter, did a lot of cooking inside, didn't like to but was cold out. Anyway our Cougar FW has a quick-connect gas valve and I've tried to get a stove and gas grill to work, but I'm not getting enough gas to light either. The gas tanks are full, I get gas out of the hose when I open the valve, but there is very little gas at the burners. The stove and brill both work using 1 lb. bottles, do I have to use the regulators? I've seen other folks use the camper connection but never paid any attention to their hook-up. Any help would be appreciated. Dan

  • My Komfort came from the factory with a grill. I've never used it < 7k' elevation, so it =might= actually cook something, but I'm not into camping in the heat at lower elevations and cooking outside, much. At our annual boondocker, I've used it a couple times, and it =will= cook, just takes a long time and doesn't sear anything; just a very unattractive grey color.
