So, are you telling me you go to Talladega and watch the race on your TV rather than in the stands? And if yes, why watch it outside rather than inside? That doesn't compute and does not answer my question. Again, no disrespect, I'm just trying to understand the reasoning for watching tv outside.

C'mon, it is just an extension of the living space. I noticed our neighbors now have about 55" on the back covered patio on their stick house, and they enjoy the football games out there with neighbors on the warm days.
You did the right thing - you didn't get one because you didn't want one. I did the right thing too, I got one because I wanted one.
