I live in pa close to the turnpike and have 3 vehicles with EZ pass 1 suv and 1 2500 tk and a 3500 dually each has it's own standard transponder I have 4 different trailers from a utility to a boat a tt and a 5thwheel which I pull with any of the tow vehicles on the turnpike at various times none of the transponders have a trailer listed with EZ pass and I have never been miss charged weather towing or not. I did receive a notice of unpaid use of easy pass lane from state of new jersey once while pulling the 5th wheel but don't know if that was because the trailer lic. was not registered with EZpass or if new jersey was just collecting out of state money .I just paid the fine to eliminate any hassle. I have never had a problem in pa. NY. OH. In. or any other state where EZpass is excepted
