Packing

I use some small expandable bars with rubber tips. They're kind of like a small version of a shower curtain bar and you can find them at Camping World. That makes the segments of the cabinets smaller and more manageable. Then I spread things out to cover the space in the cabinet and prevent a lot of side to side movement. Also, I don't have a lot of breakable things - lots of paper or plastic plates and cups. And I will pack some towels between things when necessary. I spend no more than a couple minutes at each breakdown getting things ready and rarely have any problems.

We have purchased quite a few small plastic baskets and put dishes in them to hold them in one place. Wine glasses in one, cups in another, plates can be boxed in with boards that interlock.

First of all...since you are a new member - are you new to RV'ing?
Reason I ask is have you had a problem with stuff breaking or are you just anticipating this and planning ahead?

We have very few if any problems with stuff breaking...except maybe stuff shifting in the frig and falling over from time to time.

We don't do anything special, just put things in the cabinets and they are fine. Haven't had any issues.

Center kitchen. Never had anything break, and we use Corel dishes

We have only had one broken bowl in over 55 years of camping. Maybe because my DW fills just about every inch in every cabinet etc

Keep things of alike material together. The only time I had something broken was when I put together glass with metal stuff. I don't know things shift too much, but some shifting can be anticipated. Be patient

X2 and we have the dreaded rear kitchen.

Get some shelf liner that is kind of non-skid. There is a Rubbermaid version that has little bumps on it, that helps a lot.

No need to pack/unpack. Just don't put heavy thinks--like a gallon of water--next to your crackers or bread. Kind of keep like items together. Get some plastic or Corelle plates, and mostly plastic drinking glasses, etc.

Anything that's glass and relatively fragile, like the glass portion of a coffeepot, should be in a cabinet with some towels or something wrapped around the glass portion so it doesn't slide around much.

Electronics travel nicely in the middle of the bed, for anything you don't want/need in your tow vehicle.

Make sure your liquids in the fridge are closed tightly. You may find that a few small things in the fridge slide around but it's not generally a big deal.
