Palomino Revelation

Anybody seen one of these in the flesh, yet? We are in the long term plans of replacing the Work & Play once I quit racing. I want to stay with a toy hauler but something nicer (Raptor, XLR, etc).

I like the looks of the pictures I've seen and I've always been very, very pleased with Forest River Palomino campers. If not before, I'm sure they will be at the next Raleigh RV show.
  • Wide body really does make a differance in living space, 96" is very narrow.

Good deal, glad they are actually in productions. Seems odd that FR hasn't posted pics on their website. I know you've had issues with your Cyclone, hopefully your next rig will treat you better!

Thanks. I "had" issues with the Cyclone. Sold it and the guy who bought it has already sold it. :R

  • 96" used to be a deal breaker for me. I could barely fit 2 quads side by side in the Cyclone so I knew a 96" toy hauler stood no chance of fitting them in. But once I quit racing, it won't be as big of a deal.

I just really like the Palomino stuff. Our first camper was a 2004 Puma. Its still the best, most reliable camper we ever had. Four years of trouble-free camping. Literally thousands of miles. We also had a Sabre TT and it was great until we bought the Cyclone. That's when things went downhill. :)

We have a dealer that carries a lot of Pumas and he has a couple listed right now. But they are about 150 miles from here.

  • Lawn, you might check but I'm pretty sure these are 96" wide haulers. I'm not sure if that is an issue if life is changing for you, but it might be. I also don't know if these are in productions, I don't find any photos available on their site which makes me think they are not.
