PDI Checklist for New 5th Wheel

Here is my story about PDI's. In '05 we bought a new Montana 2955. We swapped over our stuff while they put a hitch in the truck. When they finished truck they showed us how to hook it up and how a few different things worked that were different than our TT trade in and we went on down the road to home. It was never at the dealer for any kind of warranty work or other work in the 12 years we owned it. On May 20th we picked up our new GD 337RLS from the dealer. The unit had come off the assembly line on the 12th of May. When we got to dealer they told us the front office forgot to tell the back guys to get it read for delivery. We told them we were leaving with it and everything has to work as we were headed out on the following Wed. We finished paperwork and waited a little bit before we hitched up and left. Our 5 day outing went without a hitch including the use of the auto leveling system that we had never had before. To date everything is just fine and we head out Sunday for another week of RVing. We do have a dealer appointment for an axle grease issue in July. We head out in mid Aug. for a 2 month several state, multi thousand mile trip and expect no issues just like we did with our '05 Montana. Good luck with yours.
