A Nephew of ours visited from California and I took him desert camping for three days, riding the Prowler UTV.I planned on leaving the toy hauler,take him back to catch his plane and bring the wife & dogs beck to camp some more. After seeing about two dozen tracks where snakes crossed the trail, I canceled the extended camping and took the T/H home. Snakes are leaving their dens now and the desert is NO place for pets. We also encountered a Gila Monster which the dogs may have thought to be something to play with.. Not good..
