I agree a welder could fab a pin box rack cheaper. But the final price varies depending on welder's rate and type of bike rack used. You also need to use a mobile welder or plan to take your rig to a welding shop. All doable but don't plan to save a boat load of money in the end.
The same rack I posted above had been mounted on the tongue area of my prior TT. Arvika sent/sold me the parts to convert it to a pin box mounted rack. I have nothing but good things to say about Arvika. The rack shown is on its 7th season. The rack is light weight but very sturdy.
I keep the bikes on the rack under a cover 24/7 during camping season. I never remove the bikes from the rack unless we are riding them when camping. We ride at the CG and bikes go back on the rack until we ride at the next CG. No loading and unloading at home the bikes just stay on the rack. Rack has held up well especially considering it is the bikes' permanent home!
