pin box side hitting trk side rails
Just back from shake down with new grand design 369rl...tv is new 3500 denali srw std bed...have anderson ultimate hitch. In very sharp forward turn...past 60 degrees...the side plates of the trail ...

Actually it is usually the plates that hang down out of the 5th wheel over hand that the pin box bolts to that hit. Some of us have taken a sawsall to the plates. Notice line where plate use to extend.

Whether the pin box will ride over the top of the rails depends on the height of the hitch and the configuration of the pin box. If the top of the hitch plate is much below the bed rails, the pin box will also be below the bed rails. I believe the Trailair pin box is a little on the long side, which would contribute to the problem if that is the case.
