Planning a day trip (or 2) to Silverwood Lake.

Good for a day or two. Fun loop if you hit the single track and take the Crab Flats rocks up to Big Pine, hard way or easy. You then turn left and head down the 2w01 trail - tight single track n rocks - brings you back to the 2n34 and out to Miller. Fun! Nice that it is close.

Took the rhino and a couple quads and dirtbikes.

I stayed at miller canyon. Nice lil staging area w lots of trees for shade. A couple THs out there camping.

Hi, did you stay at the lake or at one of the staging areas?

Just an update, I did get a chance to make it out there!!! Been back 3x since I asked!!! As a matter of fact, I just got back yesterday!!!! Coming from Orange County, this place is a blast for a quick weekend getaway!! The scenery here is awesome!!!! Definitely gonna keep coming back here since its a good 1hr drive!!!! Thx all for the helpful replies!!!

I'm so sorry I read your post too fast you may not ride out of Silverwood lake. Miller camp is the closest area by the lake.

There a few places you can camp and ride. Miller Camp/ AKA Pilot Rock or Crab flats or the Pinnacles.

Adventure Pass required on vehicles parked at staging area. Vehicles on the OHV routes require either a license plate, red, or green sticker. Information for red and green sticker.

Don't stage at Cleghorn not unless you want to just trail ride it's a jeep road and you can't camp there.
