We go from Syracuse to Myrtle Beach a lot. Always stop at the Yogi Bear in Emporia Virginia the first night before going in the next day to MB. Close to I95 and have pull throughs for the overnighters. Can't help you with Hatteras, we would love to go there sometime but have not made it yet. Good luck. What route will you take?
