Last year we stayed at the Cape Hatteras KOA in our 5th for week then took the ferry (free) to Ocracoke Island and stayed in the national camp ground for a week. Who needs hookups? I had great data card reception and Sprint cell phone reception. We then took 5th on 2 hr ferry ($75) to Swan Landing and back to civilization. I would do Ocracoke Island again.
