We have stayed in West Yellowstone at Buffalo Crossing several times. Next door to Omni Theater and the bear park. Block away from downtoen.
We have stayed at some of the more rustic park campgrounds. Indian Creek was nice. Many cannot handle longer rigs. Madison Campground is good.
Remeber that Fishing Bridge is the only one with hook ups.
Who cares if it is tight and crowded - I was traveling to all areas of the park daily and only slept there
