- illinoiswoodworExplorerMy vote is with Durhamcutter. I have used "Protect All" on my RV and all my vehicles. Works great, last long and is very easy to use. I get it by the gallon at Camping World. You can also get a small spray bottle of it at Wal-Mart. You will really like the shine.

The only way to go. The purchase price of a good one is a good investment. Maybe someone can post some options for a good one.
Don - Splashers3ExplorerI'm sure most folks will be shaking their heads, I wax my front cap after each trip out and sometimes in between. I can't stand it being dirty or having black streaks....and No, I am not retired, but getting pretty close.
I do all my waxing by hand and the whole rig gets waxed twice a year...and I'm beat when I finish. - GoostoffExplorer

Read above. I have 4 of them of different types depending on what I am buffing - SabreCanuckExplorerDoes everybody use a power polisher?
- Irelands_childExplorerAny of the Meguire's products have proven to be great on the various 5ers we have owned as well as any of the vehicles we drive. I haven't tried the marine wax/polish on this 5er but it worked great on a now long gone boat.
- freewayrandyExplorerThanks all.
- DuckExplorerI am thinking that your front cap needs to have the oxidation removed before applying just a wax. Mequires has a line of cleaner-waxes that you can use depending on how bad your oxidation is.
Don - GoostoffExplorerI just started using this stuff a few weeks ago. It does a great job and is easy to work with. The jury is still out as to how long it holds up but so far I am loving the stuff. BTW I am applying this with a power buffer.
- DurhamcutterExplorerI have for the past few years used Protect All and it works great,
works great easy on and easy off with a real wax finish, even use it on the inside of RV. use it on the shower and the glass doors and the fiberglass shower and the counter tops, haven't used it on the glass yet but they say it works great . Happy Camping
