Thinking of buying a progressive industries surge protector or technology research, not sure if i should go hard wire or portable. I hear the portables sometimes walk away thats why im thinking hardw...

Looks good, i ordered it with the display also. Where did you get the voltage gauge? Is it wired into also or wired seperate?

I mounted the remote display on a wall just above the tank level info center. I ran the phone cord for it into the top of the info center and then into the wall. Then above that I mounted a display for the battery/converter voltage. I can see the voltage/current at a glance.
