Portable or hardwire surge protector.
Thinking of buying a progressive industries surge protector or technology research, not sure if i should go hard wire or portable. I hear the portables sometimes walk away thats why im thinking hardw...

I have one. You are correct. It is made of plastic. I suppose you could cut it but it would slow a thief down. It's certainly better than no protection at all.

It totally eliminates the crime of opportunity. Spend a couple of extra bucks and buy a REAL good lock that is hard to cut.
You lock your car doors don't you? We all know they can get in if they truly want to. I see surveillance videos on the news all the time of thieves going thru parking lots trying car doors.....those that are open get ripped off.
I do a lot of sporting events with my MH. The high percentage of non RV people wandering around at these events is where you will see more incidents of theft. IMHO a no brainer for me to put the lock on. :C
