Portable or hardwire surge protector.

Thinking of buying a progressive industries surge protector or technology research, not sure if i should go hard wire or portable. I hear the portables sometimes walk away thats why im thinking hardwire? We were going to sell the TH but we decided to keep it. Portable is EMS-PT30C and hardwire is EMS-HW30C

    I went the hardwire route on my class a. Took about an hour to install, drilling for mounting etc. Works great, mine is the 50amp model bought from Tweety's. Never known anyone to have one walk away but when doing my research asking others if they had one, most have an inline.

    Mine's hardwired, it's one less thing I have to mess with or forget.
