Possible Damage to Kitchen Island when Closing Slide

I was just closing the kitchen slide of my 2015 Coachmen Chaparral and realized the center island was tilting. I had forgot and left a plastic trashcan between the two. Now the island lifts slightly....

We bought ours used, and previous owner had done that!!

We TRY to make it habit to check for open doors, etc. that has opened or stuff that has fallen in the way. Do the same when bringing in.
