I just came across a 30 amp pedestal to RV cord, free. Can or will this cord connect to my Cedar Creek 50 amp socket? My 2018 trailer is 150 miles away from here getting fixed again! Thinking of using...
30 amp cords are 120v ( one hot leg), while 50 amp cords are 240 (2 hot legs). If you rv is 50 amp twistlock, you'll have to buy another 50 amp female plug and bridge the two hot legs together, inside the plug. Another female twist lock will likely cost more than the 30A cord itself. I've done this but was lucky to find 50A twistlock on a clearance sale.
