We took the TT (4 years old) to a CW we trust and had them go over it thoroughly. We took an extra spare for the TT and two spares for the truck as it has hard to find rims. We have a small generator and we took two 5 gallon gas cans, and a small floor jack. We used the gas, the generator, and loaned the floor jack to a fellow RV-er. Never needed the spare tires but saw several who did. We felt confident and comfortable the entire trip. Bowti is right, there seems to be a strong spirit of helpfulness among the Alaska travelers. We helped others and they helped us. We never saw a lone RV having difficulties. lizzie
