Problems with buying 3-1/2 hours away
I don't think I'm missing anything here.... Looking to possibly upgrade the 5'r and been working with a guy about 3-1/2 hrs away.. Met him a few times before , almost got our recent trailer from him 7...

I did. Bought the 5er 300 miles from home. 1st week had a slight water pipe leak. Call the manufacture and they referred me to an independent RV repair facility. The next and last issue was a bad water pump. Once again called the manf and the just sent me the water pump.
If you have faith in KZ I wouldn't worry about where you buy it from. Sounds like they will find a way to get it fixed for you.
JMO but buying from an out of town dealer is no different that buying an RV and then hitting the road for an extended period of time. You're far from home and it's then up to you and the manf to get it fixed.
