Propane regulator making noise

Recently I have noticed when I am using the furnace in the RV I am hearing a fairly loud noise comin from the propane regulator. For lack of a better description it sound like a rattle.

My Rv is a 2015. Is it time to replace the regulator already or is this a normal thing.

The other night I could hear it in the bedroom.
  • I believe the ACME nut is designed to melt in a fire to disengage the pigtail and close the valve to stop further propane release.
  • Wow thats nice. Is that the 7525? Im looking them up online. On my laptop im clicking your picture but cant seem to zoom.

Never seen anyone run the reverse thread like you. Is the idea similar metal will be better than the plastic Acme? Or is the inside diameter of that hose larger? Or both?

edit: oh wait its the inside diameter of the connectors that are larger? Recently got some high flow air compressor fittings. Something new and fun to play with.
  • I replaced mine with a commercial grade Rego unit and full flow fittings. Extremely reliable.

    Good luck.
  • I would take the Cavagna over that Marshall any day. Much easier to read and no guesswork.
