propane tanks?
Do you open both propane tanks at once ( this is what I am doing) or do you do like the guy next door to us and open one tank at a time?

Always both open, changeover always works just fine. We have an indicator light that is fairly reliable. When we are not using propane it occasionally lights on a full tank, but in cold weather when we are using propane regularly it is very reliable.
When one tank is empty I flip the changeover to the full tank and take the empty one to be refilled. 40lb. tanks last quite a while except in very cold weather.
