I would have to freshen up on the regulations on what amount is considered “ BULK” propane...
For me, it was easy as I shipped the 4 empty 40# cylinders down to VA from PA on one of our shuttle trucks ( the driver has HAZMAT endorsement ).. I picked up the empties from our shop and drove them 20 minutes to the track.... I then went to Costco and filled as needed .
Once done, I dropped ( the empties ) them back off at our shop and had them shipped back up to PA on the next shuttle..
As I know this will not work for anyone else, I simply stated the usage of our boondocking with LP.. If I were to rely on the Onan more than I do, I would have thought about an alternative plan B..... BUT for our casual user its perfect
