Proper adhesive for filon?

Question

Does anyone know what kind of adhesive should be used on filon siding? Our 5er had been repaired before we bought it and after last weekends trip it appears that either they didn't glue it at all or the adhesive has failed. I haven't taken it apart yet but I would like to know what kind of adhesive to use. Thanks, John

Good luck,  I believe it might be a pinch roller wall.  That puts a lot of pressure on the filon to keep in flat when it is manufactured into a wall.  I tried to repair my old 5er with PC11 epoxy.  This was after i dried the walls out for weeks.  The epoxy held.  Even though i placed oak planks on the wall held with long clamps to keep it flat when I released the clamps it bubbled back out.  But it was at least secured to the RV.  If your filon is still flat you should have better success.

I'm guessing, but I think it is contact cement. The same type of stuff used for formica countertops.
