Pros / Cons of residential appliances? (fridge mainly)

Been seeing more residential appliances in fifth wheels, and I'm curious to the advantages and disadvantages of them... I certainly see a big advantage to a "full size" microwave, and no real disadvan...

Our residential fridge is powered by a dedicated 1500 watt PSW inverter when we're disconnected from shore power. During travel, the truck's alternator keeps the RV's batteries charged via the trailer's umbilical. No problem at all.
